Wedding Planning Stressing You Out?

Are you trying to plan a wedding and have no idea what you are doing? Do you feel like the task of wedding planning from start to finish is overwhelming?

Before you jump the gun and make decisions too quickly, first take some time to relax and celebrate your engagement. Planning a wedding should be an enjoyable time. The time before your wedding entails a lot of planning and possible stress. Take a deep breath and relax before you let any stress take hold of you.

Before you can make any solid decisions, you first need to make a rough guest list. How many people are you going to want to host at the ceremony and reception? You need a venue, food, and drinks to accommodate your guests. Estimate an approximate ballpark budget for your wedding expenses. Create a list of the big items like food, reception hall, ceremony, music, and flowers. Split up the budget by ranking each item on how important is to you. If you don’t care much about flowers but always wanted a reception outdoors, personalize your budget.

Find ways to save money on the smaller details, too. Make your own wedding invitations on your home computer. Crafting and stationary stores have pre-made templates on beautiful cardstock paper. There are matching RSVP templates and envelopes you can print on your home printer. Don’t pay professional fees when you can do the invitations yourself. Print out all the invites, addresses, and RSVP cards and have your friends help you stuff and send everything out.
